Site information
Cookie Policy
Revealing Reality does not use cookies for advertising, audience analytics, personalization, or cross-site tracking.
Strictly necessary technology
The reader-reaction feature uses one first-party cookie, rr_reader, containing a random identifier. It helps enforce one reaction per browser per article and lets a reader view or change that response. It is marked Secure, HttpOnly, and SameSite=Lax and expires after one year. It is not used for advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking. The hosting or security systems that deliver the site may also use strictly necessary technology for authentication, security, traffic management, and abuse prevention. During a private review of the site, authentication technology may be required to confirm that a visitor is authorized to enter.
No consent banner at present
Because the journal uses only strictly necessary technology and does not place optional analytics or advertising cookies, it does not display a cookie-consent banner. If optional cookies are introduced, this policy and the site’s consent choices will be reconsidered before or when that change occurs.
Browser controls
Most browsers allow a visitor to view, block, or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent access to a private or protected version of the site and will prevent the reaction feature from reliably recognizing an earlier response.
